Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. In the past, she played Carlota in the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in America. She's an actress as well as a comedian, performer and singer. Most notable is her time as a cast member on NBC's sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live between 1996 between 1996 and 2002. She has since starred in such sitcoms as ABC's Suburgatory The TBS's People of Earth, NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. The actress began her career as a Northwestern University voice student, after which she switched to acting, as she was a part of the improv troupe on campus. The spirit of the group has been carried through her many supporting roles including the overly controlled Sheila Shay (agent), on Lady Dynamite, as well as on Suburgatory's Sheila Shay. It's all been leading up to American Auto, the NBC sitcom that finally offers Ana Gasteyer the starring role she's always deserved.
